Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Acute kidney injury (AKI) - AKIN stage 1 and 2 2 Systolic BP > 100 mm Hg with or without vasopressors 3 Patients on norepinephrine infusion < 10 mcg per minute dose requirement

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Pre existing CKD 2 AKI- AKIN stage 3 3 Significant Heart diseases including cardiac failure 4 Chronic liver disease 5 Significant hemodynamic instability 6 Hypotension SBP 7 Patients on norepinephrine infusion > 10 mcg per minute dose requirement 8 Patients requiring 2 or more vasopressors 9 Major electrolyte disturbances 10 Na 160 mmol/L 11 DI, SIADH and other major disorders affecting serum Na levels
