Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with BPH with obstructive LUTS with prostate size up to 30cc, with objective evidence of Bladder outlet obstruction with 1. Peak flow rate 2. Post void residual urine >100ml. 3. IPSS score >18. Patients with IPSS score of 7 to 18 were given a trial of alpha blockers for 12 weeks and were taken for surgery when there was no improvement
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Suspected malignancy on DRE, USG or serum PSA. 2. Presence of bladder stones or bladder diverticulum at bladder neck. 3. Previous urethroplasty for stricture or hypospadiasis or existing stricture. 4. The prostate size is more than grade II or more than 2 cystoscopic fields.
