Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: pt undergoing elective neurosurgery ASA1 and ASA2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: allergy to mgso4 or any other study drug, pt taking any enzyme inducer or inhibitor drug, pt refusal, renal,hepatic or cardiovascular dysfunction, atrioventricular conductance disturbances, opioid or analgesic abuse, pt on chronic treatment with CCB or Magnesium.
