Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant Patients posted for elective caesarean section 2)American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status Iâ??II, 3) Age from 18 to 40 years 4) Height from 140 to 180 cm 5)Singleton pregnancies

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients not willing for regional anaesthesia 2)Patient having allergy to study drug 3)Patients with all the contraindications for spinal anaesthesia like fixed cardiac output states, raised intracranial pressure, spinal deformity, patients with Coagulation abnormality and patients with local skin infection at spinal site

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1)To monitor pulse rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial blood pressure intraoperatively 2)To monitor duration of sensory block and motor block 3)To monitor duration of effective analgesia Timepoint: Intra and postoperatively

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)To monitor for any complications e.g. Bradycardia, Hypotension. Nausea, Vomitting, shivering and Respiratory depression 2) To monitor APGAR Score at 1 minute and 5 minutes Timepoint: Intra and postoperatively
