Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with minimal 20 teeth who required scaling and root planing(SRP),curettage,periodontal flap surgery and who were willing to follow the recall checkup.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had undergone periodontal therapy in the past six months and those with history of known systemic diseases, pregnant and lactating women, and somkers.
