Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients of American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA), grade I and II of either gender between 18-65 years scheduled to undergo elective surgery in prone position.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe debilitating pulmonary disease 2. Patients with significant spinal deformities that may have caused changes to the respiratory system, such as scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis and ankylosing spondylitis 3. Pregnancy and lactation 4. Multiple attempts at intubation 5. Post intubation bronchospasm
