Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients fulfilling the criteria for bipolar disorder as per the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental disorders; Fourth edition (DSM-IV) determined using the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINIPLUS) 5. 2. Age: 18-65 years 3. Duration of illness - at least 10 years 4. Either gender 5. Currently in remission (Hamilton Depression Rating Scale score of 6. Provide written informed consent (English or Kannada)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with evidence of organic brain syndrome or intellectual disability. 2. Bipolar disorder secondary to any organic cause. 3. Unwilling to participate in study. 4. Violent/ uncooperative patients. 5. Medically not fit to participate.
