Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Correction of malocclusion 2.Patients aged between 18-30 years with healthy periodontium 3.No previous history of orthodontic treatment 4.No previous history of periodontal therapy. 5.Non-smokers 6.Probing depth less than or equal to 3mm in all teeth 7.Plaque index less than or equal to 1 (Silness and Loe) 8.Gingival index less than or equal to 1 (Loe and Silness)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having active periodontal disease 2.PAOO not to be considered in patients having, root damage or poor roots 3.Patients with history of long term use of antibiotics, systemic corticosteroids, calcium channel blockers. 4.Any systemic illness 5.Patients under NSAIDs 6.Smokers 7.PAOO should not be used in cases where bi-maxillary protrusion is accompanied with a gummy smile 8.Untreated caries 9.Patients allergic to aceclofenac and amoxicillin
