Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For infants: medically stable, infants who are ready for discharge, infants with breastfeeding difficulty. For mothers: primi gravida mothers, english and kannada speaking mothers

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: For infant: infants with cleft palate and pier robinson syndrome. For mothers: Mothers with psychiatric illness

The study will help to identify the oral feeding readiness which is an important criteria for discharge. It will also help to identify how efficient the mother think she is in handling the baby in terms of self efficacy.Timepoint: November 2018 to March 2019—
