Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All children under 14 years of age who present to out-patient department with signs and symptoms suggestive of otitis media.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children having diseases which could predispose to otitis media like craniofacial anomaly, cleft palate, immunosuppression, ciliary immobility syndrome, type I diabetes. 2.Children or parents not willing to take part in the study. 3.Children not medically fit to be examined.
