Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18years or older admitted in intensive care units with the clinical suspicion of sepsis supported by laboratory tests are included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with contaminated blood cultures Patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome Patients with hematological malignancies and those on chemotherapy
