Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with the diagnosis of Alcohol Dependence Syndrome as per ICD-10 DCR undergoing detoxification for uncomplicated/complicated withdrawal who are able to give written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with co-morbid major psychiatric disorders as per ICD-10 DCR will be excluded after screening them with Modified MINI Screen. 2) Patients with other substance dependence except tobacco. 3) Patients with history of epilepsy.
