Intervention1: SMS: Text SMS will be send by patient and in response the investigator will call back and answer the queries Control Intervention1: No SMS: No Number to SMS, standard care of treatment

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Newly diagnosed patients with epilepsy b) Follow up patients with known epilepsy c) Patient who can speak English or Hindi

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a)Patients with no cell phone or SMS plan b)Patient who cannot text or do not have a family member who may be able to text (in English or Hindi) c)Age <18 years
