Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed cases of type II diabetes mellitus 2. Age 18-65 years 3. Both sexes 4. Ability to read English and/or Bengali 5. Capability and willingness to give informed consent and to comply with the study protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from type I diabetes mellitus 2. Diagnosed cases of unstable mental or psychiatric illness or other uncontrolled or life-threatening illness affecting quality of life or any vital organ failure 3. Substance abuse and/or dependence 4. Self-reported immune-compromised state 5. Undergoing homeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 6 months 6. Patients taking anti-diabetic medicines 7. Patients who are too sick for consultation, not willing to cooperate or denying consent to join the study 8. Pregnant women and lactating mothers
