Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in the age group of 6 to 11 years with fully erupted first permanent molars with intact deep and retentive fissures, carious free and untreated. The occlusal surfaces of first permanent molars should be fully visible and free of mucosal tissue. Students who are willing to participate and will give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with poor systemic health and those are under medication, with hypo-plastic permanent first molars and developmental anomalies. Non co-operative and mentally challenged. Children undergoing fluoride application regimen.
