Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy individuals without systemic disease. Individuals suffering from either irreversible pulpitis or apical periodontitis or both. Mandibular molars with curved canals.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with systemic disease. Individuals with oral swelling and preoperative palpation pain in mandibular molars. Individuals with severely mandibular molars. Individuals previously undergone root canal treatment for mandibular molars. Individuals taken analgesic in past 24 hours. Individuals with absence of opposing tooth to mandibular molars.
