Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Palatally impacted canines Age range 14-25 years Moderately severe as determined by KPG index

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Buccally impacted canine Cleft and syndromic patients History of Metabolic disease

1. To compare success rate of K9 spring and ballista spring in eruption of impacted canine 2. To compare the time required for eruption of impacted canine using K9 spring and ballista spring Timepoint: The patients will be followed for a period of 6 months and evaluated for time of complete eruption of two commonly used treatment modalities

MeasureTime frame
To compare pain experienced by patient during eruption of impacted canine using K9 spring and ballista spring.Timepoint: The pain will be evaluated using visual analogue scale and modified McGill Pain Questionnaire at 1 hour, 48 hours, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after the force application
