Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of renal stone of size 1 to 3cm undergoing PCNL during the study period. Willing to give the consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Active urinary tract infection. Renal malformation. Uncorrected coagulopathy. Morbid obesity. Patients needing more than 1 puncture for stone clearance. Pregnant women. Patients not following the study protocol.

MeasureTime frame
To compare standard PCNL and Miniperc in terms of post-operative bleeding.Timepoint: Haemoglobin in gm% Haematocrit in % will be assessed on 1st pod

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare post-operative pain in standard PCNL vs Miniperc at 6hrs, POD1 and POD2 . To compare other variables like stone clearance rates, operative time and hospital stay in standard PCNL and Miniperc Timepoint: Pain through VAS Residual calculi size in mm Operative time in hrs and minutes Hospital stay in days
