Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All adult patients of 18-60 years, either sex undergoing elective thoracic surgery for various lung and mediastinal disease wherein a double-lumen endotracheal tube will be used will be recruited in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Emergency surgery, coagulopathies or blocked nasal passage
