Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA PS I-II, aged 18-80 years undergoing elective ambulatory surgery. 2. BMI of 20-30 kg/m2 3. Elective surgery of planned duration 0-2 hrs.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patientâ??s refusal or inability to give informed consent 2. Neck pathology 3. History of upper gastrointestinal disorders including gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatus hernia, gastro-oesophageal cancer or upper gastrointestinal surgery 4. Previous or anticipated problems with the upper airway 5. Live pregnancy 6. Increased risk of gastric aspiration 7. Metabolic disorders like diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease
