Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I & II Patients scheduled to undergo elective surgeries requiring endotracheal intubation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with preexisting musculoskeletal disorders Patients with preoperative increased serum potassium levels Subjects who had received analgesics within 24 hours before scheduled surgery Patients receiving sedatives other than those determined by the study protocol Patients who are allergic to any of the study drugs Patients with renal dysfunction Patients with weight >70 Kgs
