Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All male patients (18 to 50 years of age) with unilateral/bilateral inguinal hernias planned for laparoscopic / open hernia repair

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated hernias (irreducible/obstructed/strangulated hernias) 2. Recurrent inguinal hernias 3. History of previous groin/testicular/scrotal surgeries 4. History of testicular trauma/epididymitis/orchitis in the past 5. Patient with undescended testis/hydrocele/varicocele 6. Significant co-morbidities/unfit for general anaesthesia (ASA 3/4)
