Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Understanding association of cancer on quality and genetic integrity of spermatozoa and their cryosusceptibility and their genomic stability post-thawTimepoint: The cancer patients semen profile will be checked before start of chemotherapy treatment, as part of fertility preservation procedure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Sperm cryosusceptibility to freeze thaw processTimepoint: A portion of the semen sample that will be frozen for fertility preservation will thawed to assess the freeze thaw susceptibility of sperm from cancer patients. The patient is not required to be present during this assessment.
