Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are willing to participate and sign the informed consent for this clinical trial. 2.Healthy gingiva with a plaque and gingival index score of 0â??1. 3.Patients with well-aligned maxillary central incisors, lateral incisors and canines. 4.Patients having good physical health. 5.Patients having completed growth and development.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with destructive periodontal disease. 2.Any history of surgery in the anterior maxillary area, or open contact or crowding observed visually without aid. 3.Pregnancy or a history of taking medications known to increase the risk of gingival hyperplasia. 4.Evidence of caries either on the interproximal surface or at cemento-enamel junction. 5.Presence of an artificial crown, proximal/ cervical restorations or abrasions on the central incisors, lateral incisors and canines. 6.Evidence of incomplete passive eruption. 7.Orthodontically treated areas.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the Gingival Line Angle (GLA) on the right and left side of maxillary dental arch and correlate it with the Gingival and Interdental smile line (GSL & ISL) in periodontally healthy patients.Timepoint: 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)To assess the Gingival Line Angle in maxillary anterior teeth on both right and left sides of the arch. 2)To compare the GLA in maxillary anterior teeth on either side of the arch. 3)To assess the gingival and interdental smile line in the study population. 4)To correlate GLA with the gingival and interdental smile line in the study population. 5)To compare and correlate GLA with the gingival and interdental smile line in males and females. Timepoint: 3 months
