Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Child presenting with septic shock (Defined as per ACCM guidelines) 2.Age, 1 month to 12 year old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Received fluid bolus > 20ml per kg within 24 hrs of enrollment 2. On any inotropic support 3. Known c/o Heart disease 4. Known c/o Chronic Renal disease 5. Known c/o Chronic Respiratory disease 6. Dengue shock syndrome 7. Refusal to give consent
