Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diabetic patients attending the Non Communicable Diseases Clinic in selected 16 Government Family Health Centres in Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with mature cataract in whom fundus examination is not possible. Patients not willing to participate in the study.
