Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients between the ages 30 to 60 years of either sex irrespective of chronicity will be taken 2. Presence of cardinal symptoms of Madhumeha described in Ayurveda classics 3. Confirmed cases of DM type II on the basis of laboratory investigations and observed sign and symptoms 4. Patients having FBS level ranges between 126 – 200 mg/dl and PPBS between 200 – 300 mg/dl will be selected for the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with type 1 Diabetes mellitus 2.Patients with type 2 Diabetes mellitus who are on insulin 3.Patients of Gestational Diabetes and Juvenile Diabetes 4.Patient having Type-II DM with any other serious systemic disease 5.Patients with complications like cardiac disorder, diabetic foot Nephropathy and other secondary complications. 6.Diabetes Mellitus produced due to other illnesses like Acromegaly Cushing’s syndrome pancreatic disorders etc.
