Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All the patients above the age of 18 years with primary diagnosis of CRA after hematological evaluation 2.ECOG performance status 0-2 3. Patient should be willing to consent to be a part of the study afterexplaining the nature of the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who were in the immediate post-operative period (3 weeks) and/or critically ill (life expectancy 2. Patients diagnosed with leukemias 3. Patients who were recently transfused with PRBC within a month prior to inclusion 4. Contraindication for ESA or iron preparations 5.Pregnant or breast-feeding women
