Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) primary THR patients only 2) aged more than 18years through posterolateral approach .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) revision thr patients 2) history of keloid scar formation; 3) long-term of corticosteroid use; 4) uncontrolled diabetes; 5) previous hip surgery; 6) malignancy; 7) developmental dysplasia of hip (DDH); 8) connective tissue disease including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), systemic lupus erythematous (SLE), psoriatic arthritis (PA); 9) other diseases or conditions known to affect wound healing.
