Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy neonates born at (equal to or more than)35 weeks by vaginal delivery and not requiring early resuscitation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Major congenital malformation(eg. omphalocele, gastroschisis, cleft lip, Cleft Palate, Upper Respiratory tract illness) which prohibits early SSC or breastfeeding. Maternal complication in immediate post-partum period Neonates requiring early resuscitation Mentally ill mother Mothers having any dermatologic morbidity over chest andtrunk which prohibit skin to skin contact.
