Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients belonging to either sex between 20 to 60 years of age. 2.Patients with ASA physical status 1 & 2. 3.Patients with Glasgow coma scale 15. 4.Patients undergoing elective craniotomy under general anaesthesia for supratentorial tumours.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients refusal to give consent. 2.Patients with significant cardiovascular,pulmonary,renal,hepatic,endocrine or muscular disorders. 3.Patients having tumours with midline shift. 4.Patients allergic to any anaesthetic drug. 5.Patients having surgery related complications like vascular injury,massive intraoperative bleeding or injury to vital structures necessitating elective post operative mechanical ventilation. 6.Patients exposed to general anaesthesia in preceeding 7 days before the study.
