Intervention1: Ferrous Ascorbate tablets: Iron tablet having 100mg elemental iron will be supplemented to Anemic mother orally once a day for 6months in 1 group and for first 3months in other group

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: MOTHERS: 1.Hb-7 to 11.9mg/dl 2.Singleton delivery INFANTS: 1.Exclusively breastfed LBW infants weighing between 1500g-2499g 2.Predominantly breastfed LBW infants
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: MOTHERS: 1. History of APH 2. history of blood transfusion INFANTS: 1. Infants with evidence of major congenital malformations 2. Infants who required blood transfusion, exchange & treated for sepsis.
