Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant females having minimum of twenty teeth present and belong to age group of 18-45. 2.Patients presented with at least 4 teeth with one or more site with minimal probing depth of 4 mm or more and clinical attachment of minimal 2 mm or more with bleeding on probing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having any form of systemic disease. 2.History of any periodontal surgery in past 6 months. Patients were also excluded if they had any of following condition: 1) Any history of trauma or resent tooth extraction. 2) Patient on antibiotic therapy or anti-inflammatory drugs. 3) Unwillingness to participate in the study.
