Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age group 2.Full term babies 3.Birth weight >2 kg 4.Gender-Male/Female 5.ASA Status-1,2 6.Patients posted for elective surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Known airway anomaly 2.Anticipated difficult intubation 3.Low oxygen saturation before induction (SPO2 4.Known Congenital Heart disease 5.Anemia (Hb 6.Presence of Respiratory tract infection,cough,cold 7.Not willing parents

MeasureTime frame
A)Lowest Saturation (SPO2) attained during intubation with each blade. B) Time for 1% desaturation from baseline C) Desaturation Rate D) Time for intubation E) Heart Rate Timepoint: 1.)Preinduction Heart rate and SPO2 2.)After preoxygenation 3.)Each second during laryngoscopy 4.)At 5 minutes each for 1st 15 minutes and then every 15 minutes till end of surgery.
