Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with chronic functional constipation children fulfilling the Rome - III criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pathological causes for constipation Drug - induced constipation

1. Constipation Severity Index 2. Patient Assessment of Constipation Quality of Life (PAC-QOL) 3. Bristol Stool Scale 4.Seven - day bowel diary (Frequency of bowel movement, stool consistency, defecation time)Timepoint: All the assessments will be done on Day 1 and one week later. A bowel diary will be maintained during that 1 week.
