Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient diagnosed with chronic periodontitis, as per AAP 1999 criteria Mean age: 30-60 yrs. Probing depth >= 5 mm Clinical Attachment Loss >= 3mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients with systemic diseases. • Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in the last six months. • Use of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics in the last six months. • Pregnant and lactating mothers. • Radiation or immunosuppressive therapy. • Smokers, alcoholics and drug abusers
