Interventions

Intervention1: Commercially available Cow milk (mother diary): 30 ml of commercially available cow milk will be given at room temperature for oral rinses for 2 minutes twice a day for 21 days Control

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Those who will experience dentine sensitivity after scaling and root planing. 2- Those who will sign informed consent and ready to follow the schedule. 3- Those who will be systemically healthy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Subjects currently undergoing or with history of desensitizing therapy. 2- Subjects having history of periodontal surgery in the preceding 3 months. 3- Subjects with Unrestored carious lesions, cervical abrasions, erosions in the area of DH. 4- Subjects extensively restored teeth and those with restorations extending in the area of DH. 5- Subjects with impacted teeth with pain 6- Subjects with allergy to milk or test products. 7- Subjects with ortho-appliances, crowns, bridges in the area of DH. 8- Subjects on medications like analgesics and immunosuppresents 9- Subjects who are Pregnant or lactating mothers 10- Subjects with systemic conditions that are etiologic or predisposing to DH (e.g. chronic acid regurgitation.)
