Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 40 to 75 years 2. ASA grade 1 to 3 3. Elective procedures posted for vitreo retinal surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age > 70 years 2. Severe left ventricular dysfunction (Ejection fraction 3. Baseline heart rate 4. Hypovolemia with systolic blood pressure 5. Second and third degree heart block 6. Chronic renal failure and hepatic impairment 7. Bleeding or coagulation abnormalities 8. Psychiatric diseases 9. H/o allergy to the drug
