Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Minimum of 20 natural teeth. -Body mass index ranging from 18.5 - 24.9. -Subjects who are diagnosed with chronic periodontitis showing the presence of more than 30% of sites with clinical attachment loss greater or equal to 5mm and pocket depth greater and equal to 4mm measured with Hu-Friedy UNC 15 Color-Coded probe. -Hypertensive patients under treatment with antihypertensive drugs. -Hypertension should be less or equal to 140/90mmHg.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with malignancies and tumors. -Patients with any congenital and developmental cardiac illness. -Patients with other systemic illness.
