Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Post Partum Patient suffering from Iron Deficiency Anemia irrespective of mode of delivery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient in shock Patient in shock Patient with Liver disorders Patient with anemia other than Iron deficiency anemia Patient with CVS disorder Patient with histoy of allergy to parenteral iron

To compare the efficacy of IV FCM and IV IS in the treatment of post-partum IDA. Efficacy of treatment will be determined by rate of improvement in-: Hb Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV) Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH) Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) Reticulocyte count Timepoint: 4 week after treatment
