Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients with ventral and incisional hernia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with the following conditions 1. Chronic cough 2. Ascites 3. Active abdominal infection 4. Loss of abdominal domain

Patient satisfaction and cosmetic outcome.Timepoint: 3 months, 6 months, 1 year.

MeasureTime frame
To compare incidence of early post operative and chronic pain, intra operative time for mesh fixation, early post operative complications and recurrence.Timepoint: Post operative days 1 and 3, 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.
