Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: presenting within 7 days of a new onset acute ischemic stroke

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: subjects with infections, autoimmune diseases and immuno compromised state

MeasureTime frame
Present study will lead to identification of novel and distinct mechanisms involved in homocysteine induced NETosis compared to other activators of NETs. This will help in differentiating mechanisms between infection associated NETosis to that of sterile inflammation. Our project also aims to understand metabolic changes in the milieu of neutrophil activation in stroke subjects.Timepoint: 3 years
