Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients requiring a diagnostic flexible bronchoscopy for their respiratory condition

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a known hypersensitivity to lignocaine, pregnant females, those not willing to give consent, bronchoscopy performed via endotracheal tube or tracheostomy tube or under general anesthesia
