Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Patient who give written informed consent 2)ASA I and II 3)Patients with BMI 18-25 kg/m2 4)Age 18-50 years, either sex 5)Patients scheduled for laparoscopic surgeries 6)No major obstructive or restrictive lung disease(defined as
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient refusal 2)Anticipated difficult intubation and pregnant patients and patients in whom intubation attempts exceeds more than two. 3)Major obstructive or restrictive lung disease(defined as 4)Inability to maintain stable ventilator settings for >30 minutes 5)Patients with a tracheotomy or who had laryngeal disease or surgery 6)Patients in whom nasogastric tube is used 7)Patients who require mechanical ventilation in the postoperative period
