Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals between the age group of 20 to 80 years having insomnia of minimum three month duration. Either sex.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with psychiatric illness like schizophrenia, Major depressive disorder, psychosis, epilepsy , Anxiety disorders etc Patients with alcohol dependency or drug dependency. Patient with other sleep disorders like narcolepsy, breathing-related sleep disorder, circadian rhythm sleep disorder, or parasomnia Patients with other illness like asthma , malignancies ,liver cirrhosis , Chronic renal failure, etc. were excluded . Use of hypnotics by prescription, psychotherapy within the past 4 weeks Pregnant or lactating women
