Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Adult patient undergoing elective surgery and Admitted to PACU or Recovery Room during post operative period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children ( 2.Refusal of consent 3.Non surgical patient in PACU 4.Sedated and intubated patient in PACU 5.patient undergoing emergency surgery 6. Re admission to PACU. 7. Minor surgery

To identify the pain score immediately on shifting to PACU i.e pain severity at shifting to the PACU from the operation theatreTimepoint: 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.The time taken to achieve pain score below 4 if above 4. 2.To identify incidence and average time of delay in shifting to ward due to pain related issues. Timepoint: 6 months
