Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I and II, 2. Singleton gestation >36 weeks, 3. Scheduled elective cesarean delivery under spinal anesthesia, 4. Fasting >6 h
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy-related hypertensive disease, 2. Multiple gestation, 3. Gestational diabetes requiring insulin, 4. Documented history of postoperative nausea and vomiting, 5. Body mass index (BMI) >40 kg/m2, 6. Emergency caesarean section for maternal and/or fetal distress, 7. ASA III and IV patients
