Intervention1: Low impact aerobic exercise- Brisk walking Strength training- Resistance bands, dumbbells involving large muscle group as per the recommendation ACOG committee opinion 2015 : Low impact

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Primigravida/ Multigravida between 24-28 weeks referred by Obstetrician and who has been diagnosed with GDM.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: IVF/IUI, Absolute bed rest, pregnancy induced hypertension, Hb level <11gm/dl, previous gynecological surgeries.

Fasting blood sugar levels in mg/dl Post prandial blood sugar in mg/dl International Physical Activity Questionnaire in minutes per week Timepoint: 2 time points 1st- Between 24th- 28th weeks of gestation 2nd- After 4 weeks i.e between 28th- 32nd week of gestation
