Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Experimental Group:Native Kannada speaking individuals with post lingually acquired bilateral mild to moderately severe sensorineural hearing loss acquired after 18 years of age with minimum 2 years of hearing loss Control Group: Native Kannada speaking individuals with bilateral normal hearing thresholds

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with history of cognitive or neurological impairment,unilateral hearing loss. recurrent occurrence of middle ear infections during childhood and /or any history of any speech or language delay in childhood.
