Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patient requiring postoperative ventillatory support.Patient or relatives giving written consent.Patient for emergency surgeries requiring blood transfusion prior to weaning.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient with known Hypersensetivity to drugs used in study.Hemodynamically unstable patient.Pregnant and lactating women.Patient requiring neuromuscular blockade during sedation.Paitents requiring epidural drug during sedation.Patients with grossly deranged kidneys and liver functions.Patients with airway surgery.
